Need help troubleshooting a wordpress install!
Themes aren't loading correctly, need some WP pros

It would be help to know: a) are you referring to hosted WordPress or self-installed WordPress (downloaded from wordpress.org)? b) Which version of WordPress?

One of the problems with WordPress is that not all themes are compatible with all versions of WordPress. Additionally, some themes require extra plugins in order to work correctly. Have you actually installed WordPress correctly? Is it actually up and running when using the default theme?

Oh and probably the very best place to ask for assistance is at the official WordPress site - http://wordpress.org/support - the guys there are VERY helpful.
